  • Please Enter Your Account Number

    Can someone explain to me why I enter my account number on the automatic prompt when calling customer service for things like my phone? I called over this morning to Comcast and entered the account number. Then I was immediately transfered to a human (which was a plus), but the first thing this human did was ask the account number. Shouldn't he be able to pull up what I entered?
